There was many times in the history of the earth that had much higher levels of CO2 and it was much warmer. As plants proliferated in the oceans and on land, much of the CO2 was absorbed and O2 levels climbed. This cycle has occured over and over many times.
Nature contributes far more gasses and pollution than mankind does. This includes volcanos, animal digestive gas, rotting vegetation and forest fires. Fossil fuels contribute a minimal amount compared to natural causes.
The Earth has been much warmer in the past because of natural cycles that occur with the Sun, the variations in our orbit and long term wobbling on the Earth itself.
It's going to get warmer AND colder regardless of what humans are doing. Environmentalists have done some real good things and unfortunately, some real harm with some of there intentions.
I think technology is beter than irrational emotions.
