Kodak declared bankruptcy earlier this week. This leaves lots of questions to speculate on:

What will happen to them?
What will happen to film photography?
Will their cameras get cheap?
Will they still make cameras?
Will they still make film?

A question I have is, how will this affect CCD imaging? Kodak makes CCD chips for some popular cameras, such as the SBIG ST-8300 series cameras that use the Kodak KAF-8300 chip. I'm looking at possibly getting one of these cameras, and I'm wondering if I need to get one 'while the getting is good', or can I wait?

They haven't made cameras in a long, long time. Not since freaking 1969 (Motormatic). Any Kodak branded camera since that time has been imported.
