The Second Amendment is alive and well in Illinois and as of Friday, April 28th we have sought and found relief thanks to the Southern District of Illinois court in East St. Louis, IL. We would like to thank all of the 2A warriors who have been working tirelessly on behalf of like-minded people, for the last 108 days, to deliver IL firearm advocates the freedoms they are entitled to.

Today, Judge Steven McGlynn issued an Order granting a Preliminary Injunction against the Illinois "Assault Weapons" and Magazine ban. The purpose of a preliminary injunction is to prevent enforcement of the ban until the final hearing of the entire case.

We can only hope at this point that those out there in the midst of the fight, continue to do so.  The "assault weapons ban" is nothing more than a 1st step in their hope to outlaw all guns.

Then what?  Criminals will still have guns while the law abiding citizens of this nation become sitting ducks.

7 guns in my home. Never had one yet go out and commit a crime.  Just don't understand why my weapons have never once decided to join in a riot or rob a bank.

Maybe I trained them well not to leave my house without permission.  cwy

A buddy of mine bought a semi-auto shotgun.  I never even knew such a beast  existed until he got it.

I've been wanting to go to the range with him and test it out.

Sounds like great fun!  smile

smile  My latest acquisition is a Heritage 6 shot revolver.  Just a 22, but it seems well made.

After the $20 rebate only $129 + tax out the door brand spanking new.  How can you beat that?

Having shot it yet but going to the range next week.
