Russian bounties on American servicemen in Afghanistan? I'm sure you guys will be OK with this, too.

And that's why the WH "declined to comment" on the CNN story. They can't and won't deny it because they know it's true. Now AP has also reported it including information that John Bolton also briefed Trump, as well...

Considering that it's "fake news" CNN, perhaps they didn't want to dignify the story with a response.

Darian this is pretty much par for the course with CNN.

From the article:

CNN first reported Monday, citing an unnamed source.

And The Associated Press, citing unnamed sources.

I don't really care one way or the other, as this is just more DNC campaign fodder, reported by their DNC operatives over at CNN.

The WH, as of today, still can't even get its story straight:
"Though top officials said on Saturday Trump hadn’t been briefed, Trump tweeted Sunday night that “intel” had informed him the allegations were not “credible.” Yet by Monday, McEnany continued to insist the president hadn’t been briefed, even as briefings were being arranged for lawmakers."

There are plenty of former Navy Seals and Army Rangers, Special Forces, etc...  who make verbal statements.

His pedigree isn't as important as the knowledge that he's an avowed Democrat who has exhibited before his hatred of Donald Trump.

I can show you just as many War Heroes with medals all over their chest who don't engage in attacks on Trump and who support what he's doing.

They pretty much find Barack Obama appalling.

Does his Navy Seal Status prove anything?

He's a Democrat who back in the middle of 2017 had a hard-on for Trump.

Nothing new.

Amen, brother. Rich will probably post he was worst navy seal ever, how can you trust the Lincoln Project? Maybe it's because it is made up of Republicans who have seen through the farce that is Trump. I said it back in 2015 that he was nothing but a grifter and is only concerned with what's good for Trump.

I can only hope that the SC wants to see what I and many many other Americans would like to see. Trump's tax returns.

If he has nothing to hide why won't he show them. Every presidential candidate for the past 50 years + have disclosed their tax returns. First it was he was under the longest audit in IRS history, then nothing but attempts to hide them from scrutiny. Hmm, why do you guys suppose that is?

Anyway, to all the guys who chimed right in with excuses about the original point of this thread are you still feeling that way?

Senator Thom Tillis, R NC

"If intelligence reports are verified that Russia or any other country is placing bounties on American troops, then they need to be treated as a state sponsor of terrorism."

Liz Cheney:
"If reporting about Russian bounties on US forces is true, the White House must explain:
1. Why weren’t the president or vice president briefed? Was the info in the PDB?
2. Who did know and when?
3. What has been done in response to protect our forces & hold Putin accountable?"

BTW. She also tweeted this:
"Dick Cheney wears a mask."

Too bad Richard isn't as cool as Dick.

But Trump wants Russia back in the G7. Why do you suppose that is? Hmmmm?

This stuff is stupid. It was war. We gave one side money, Russia gave the other side money. Yes, even when Obama was president.
