Another Horsehead in H-a

I started out excited by the clear sky but just returned from a trip, was tired and pooped out after an hour and a half. This is nine, ten minute subframes. More exposure may smooth it out.

AP155/7, ST-10 and Astrodon 6nm H-alpha filter. Cropped and reduced for the web.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I'd be embarrassed to post a picture like that - NOT!

That is already smooth and detailed, Cal. You've captured the background wisps extremely well.
