Galaxies in Leo are now heading to the western horizon. The weather finally broke enough to get a few shots of this interesting grouping, NGC3187 and other small galaxies in Leo.

AP 17" F8 Astrograph on 1600 mount, STL11K camera. 25x5 minute Lum, 20x5 minute RGB.

Thanx! Nice combo: "stressed" 3187, neighboring rat-tails, and a ring... Gota love galaxies for their infinitely eclectic morphologies. It's a BIG universe, even one little corner. Tom

Nice pic. Love the little galaxies scattered about everywhere. All three / four
of the main galaxies are very interesting visually with lots of detail. What is
the 'streaky' sky about? No flats I am assuming.

Whoa! Gorgeous! Was the scope used the specific one on display at NEAF?
