A late and noisy M42

From last week, this is a composite of exposures of 360, 120, 60, 30, 15, and 8 sec, with only 7 of the 360 sec frames. I didn't have much time before Orion sank into the trees, so this is pretty noisy. Plus, it was 70° when I started. At dark. In mid-March. Anyway, the subs for each exposure were stacked with DSS, and the composite was assembled with PSCS3. The scope is a 6" f/4 Newt (with a Coulter mirror circa 1970) with a Baader MPCC, and the camera is a Nikon D50, ISO 1600. Thanks for looking, comments welcome!

If I had taken that photo I would frame it and hang it on a wall.
