Here's my 12.5 6.4 home made dob. I would like to know how some others have achieved afocal photography with their dobs i.e. brackets etc. Thanks.

In the simplest way, just hold the camera up to the eyepiece, center a nice crescent Moon, and fire away.

At the risk of sounding like I'm plugging magazines, this year's edition of Sky and Telescope's Skywatch has an article by me about beginning imaging, and goes into the details of afocal picture taking.

Here is an iPhone Afocal image of the moon taken by a 9 year old with our 12" LX200. It was auto focus and autoexposure, and the camera was held about an inch away from the 20mm eyepiece. He was pretty proud to take a printout of this to school the next day.
