DSLR Modification options

Hi all,

I have a student who is looking at getting a DSLR and having it modified for astro use. He was just asking me which modification is better... Baader or full-spectrum. He would be wanting to use it for normal photography, but mainly for astro.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Maurice

Check out the websites of Hap Griffin and Gary Honis.

Note that some mods will cause auto focus to become inoperable and/or some lenses to not come to focus. I wouldn't, personally, want these because I want to use the camera for daytime photography also and I would pick a mod that didn't affect these.

It depends what you want.
