M37 open star cluster in Auriga. Stacked 6 one minute exposures with dark frame correction at iso 400 using my E-30 equipped with a Hexanon 200mm prime lens and mounted on my iOptron Sky Tracker. Used DSS for stacking, then Astronomy Tools plugin in PE 12 for post processing. This cluster is one of my favorites having almost globular-like quality. There is an interesting filter in Astronomy Tools that renders almost a 3D look about it. This cluster's signature is the amber colored star at its core - some claim to see more red coloration.

Nice images! I did film long ago and burned out on effort and equipment. Want to ease back in with reasonably modest DSLR. I like that your images look similar to looking thru a scope. Tom Dey
