I was reading a description of the Scopetronix Digi-T system and it mentioned setting the camera to macro-mode. In other words, it seems that the camera is taking a picture of the image that is projected on the eyepiece. Is that correct? Is that a setting that most folks use when shotting with a digital camera?

David, with the few shots that I've done I've just brought the eyepiece to a focus by eye, attached or hand-held the camera, and then let the camera auto-focus. I've not tried setting the camera to a set focus yet, so I don't know if it is focusing "near" (macro) or "far" (infinity), or somewhere in between.
Sounds like something to experiment with.
