Shutter failure

Was out last night in SE Florida. The temperature dropped quickly under a wonderfully clear sky and by 9:00 pm heavy dew settled.

Heavy dew causes my Nikon F shutter to fail. It won't trip at any speed. Dry this camera works fine.

Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

Try putting a plastic bag over the camera body during your exposures.
This will kept the dew off.
I never had this problem with my F-3.
I use the bulb setting and manual shutter.
I am don't know if your camera has a manual shutter on it. If it does use it and you don't have to turn the camera on.
