here's some semi-lame attempts. wink

First up - ISS. Sometime back in May, I don't recall the exact date.

And yes, that yucky glow is light pollution, not twilight. 8O

Minolta SRT-202, 28mm wide angle, wide open @ f/2.8 - shutter open for something like about 5 minutes.

Fujicolor 100 print film. Scanned @ 1200 dpi, fiddled with, scratches & dust spots removed, contrast enhanced, then re-sized & converted to .jpg.

Secondly -

Crescent moon, exposed for the Earthshine side. Minolta X-700, Tamron 300mm/f2.8 - wide open - let the computer decide on shutter speed.

Other details, same as previous pic.

Another Moon -

This one is trickier. Kiev medium format lens - 300/f4.5. Plus 2x teleconverter. Add Kiev-to-Minolta adaptor - and then add Minolta 2x converter. My math tells me that's approximately a 1200mm f18 lens. On the SRT-202 body, @ 1/250th sec.

I wasn't quite sure if this massive combo was actually going to reach infinity focus, but it looks like it did.

Same Fujicolor 100 print film.

One final -

Sunsets count, right? I mean, it's a pic of a star, huh? 8)

Minolta X-700, Tamron 300mm/f2.8 - stopped down to (I think) 5.6. Again, computer picked appropriate shutter speed. It was either 1/500, or 1/1000. Hand-braced on monopod.

Still back in May sometime, and that same Fujicolor 100 print film.
