This beastie landed 15 feet from me while I was out doing star trail photography. She sat there and let me get two shots WITH FLASH...and never did fly away. Probably can't fly when you're blind from the flash.
The star trial came out good too.

Yes sir. 
I compressed the hell out of this photo so the star trails look over-processed...which they are. The original looks better.
Here's one pointing east through the airspace at DFW airport. The straight lines are airplanes taking off the runway against the star trails in the background.
