King Kong 2012 GTR super car er super gizmo ?

Of course it had to happen.... Nissan actually updated the GTR for 2012.... more horsies, better suspension, better brakes, HECKUVA nice colour.... launch control is BACK...after the last attempt was a disaster
this new one will do 0-60 in 3 seconds FLAT, supposedly been recorded doing a 2.88 0-60 YIKES

ALL kinda gadgetry & software being used to "manage" the car.... I SURELY wouldn't want to own this one AFTER warranty expires... BUT BOY is this one tempting....just wish the bodywork was less TRANSFORMER looking
who knows... maybe 2013 will have better body...and of course better PRICE, this 2012 is "only" $ 97,000
but the all wheel drive and super speedy sprint ability SURE DO seem attractive to this CORVETTE lover

Me plain ole ZR 1 ate the GTR's for lunch in 2009,10, and 2011 BUT...2012 ? OH OH

Wonder if I'd need to learn how to play video games to drive this one

Don't do it Broose. 0-60 is so overrated. I tried the regular GT-R. Sure the car was immensely capable, but it felt like a video game, in that the computer was keeping the car off the guardrail, not my awesome driving skills that would make Lewis Hamilton blush

I'll take the basic, mechanical goodness of a Corvette chassis over those torque-vectoring gadgetry of GT-R any day.

But then I'd probably just get a Miata and call it a day. For me, handling > acceleration.

0-60 only counts in magazines. 0-100 is the real benchmark. The ZR-1 should still to really well.
