P-3 Orion

O.K., it's not a car. But, I'm proud of this picture. I noticed this Navy P-3 Orion doing touch-n-go landings as I drove by the airport earlier this week. When I came the stop light, he did a banking turn across the road about a mile or two ahead of me, and I managed to do a quick draw with the Kodak to capture this moment just as the light was turning green and he was making his approach.

Nice shot of a real workhorse. They've been around for 50 years and are sill going strong.

They use our local airport for training flights too. See them about once a month here.
