The Car I Loved and Lost

My friend's called it the Rocket Car because we thought it could get us pizza faster. It had a 150 mile per hour speedometer and an engine that never let me go that fast. It was a real pain and yet I miss it... 8)

Had a '70 in about 1973 or so. Neat little car. Digger Orange with AR alloy wheels like yours. Used to cruise at 90-100 on I-40 making gas-stop-only ski runs from SoCal to Crested Butte CO and back. Fun trying to keep it straight where clear ice had formed on the overpasses at night...........
