Joba, our 21 year old female was put to sleep on Tuesday.
Very smart cat but very anti-social. Hated females and children to the point of attacking them. My daughter and her baby sitter had to call the police one Halloween to come baracade the cat in a bedroom. Trusted, played, wrestled and slept with me and as evil as she was, she got more affection than she ever desired or deserved. A long good life for a cool evil cat.

She was 18 in this photo.

Introduced a kitten to the house 3-1/2 years ago (Sammy has been posted before) and Joba would have nothing to do with him. Sammy tried as hard as he could to be her best friend but she never took to him.

Buried Joba on Tuesday and brought this guy home on Wednesday.

Allow me to introduce-

Schrödinger

Born in February but still tiny.

Sammy always displayed a desire to be social with other cats. But after growing up with a cat that hated him, how would he respond to Schrödinger?

Just fine.

My sympathies for your loss, Bob. It's hard to lose a pet, but especially after so many years. Congrats on the new addition though!
