My Starmaster and I after another wonderful night together, at Joshua Tree National Park in SoCal.
Sorry, no Joshua Trees in the background. I'll have to post them seperately, in the landscape dept. wink

Hi... Could I ask you about that rugged-looking chair you use? Is that home made?

Thanks,

Linton: Never mind the Joshua trees. You know darn well that they're in the northern -- Mojave Desert -- portion of JTNP, where I would guess any star-gazing would be compromised not just by those plants but also by the lights from 29 Palms and its surroundings. Come to think of it, however, some years ago someone recommended the Jumbo Rocks Campground area of the park as a place to take my telescope. Have you ever tried that?

Hi Linton,
What did you guys do with the Joshua Trees? I bet you cut them down because they blocked the view. wink
Nice place, looks like clean air. Bring your long undies though I bet. 8)
