Out with the AP1200 and in with the TEC140 with dedicated FF & FLI Proline 16803. Here's 160 minutes of HA 6nm bandpass gathered in 10 minute subs on the good ole Losmandy G11. Dark subtracted and aligned in AstroArt 4.0 Histogram stretched in Nebulosity. Resized to 50% of original.

No flats or Photoshop tweaks yet...but I'm learning.

The Twin

Posted By David Tasch

TEC140 on a G11, Atik 16HR, CLS filter, 3 and 4 min subs, about 1.5hrs total, averaged, log stretch, inverted; from the backyard (mag 4.5-5.0??)

Gravitationally lensed Q in Ursa Major, separation ~6"; large edge-on NGC 3079

Enjoy,

David

Here's a sigma combine of 25 x 4 min exposures thru a CLS filter in my urban backyard. TEC140 at native F7. Atik16HR. Log stretch and a very slight unsharp mask applied.

Thanks for looking,

NGC 4214 irregular galaxy

Taken under last night's moon. 34 x 3 min subs averaged in AstroArt 4.0 Dark applied and bias subtracted. Log stretch. TEC140. Atik16HR. CLS filter. Losmandy G11

Clearly it needs more time and under darker conditions but I kind of liked the inverse.
