I love it, these folks are convinced they have everyone over a barrel and can do whatever they want. At least the Pentagon is taking a little action...

This Forum

It seems this forum has increasing become a repository for those who require the least amount of information to form ridiculous opinions, and the least amount of pretext to give them... and no, I'm not talking in terms of republicans or democrats here. I know this has been obvious to some; some of those who used to contribute here knew what was happening, and what this forum too often represented. Sure, there are a few who are still interested in debate or dialogue that actually requires some thinking, knowledge and imagination... but they are in the minority. Trolling and idiotic comments are once again becoming the order of the day. Who needs it? Not me. Good luck to those who stay.

Instant Runoff Voting

Posted By Joe Lentz

Looks like some of you have been talking about the EC and percentage of popular vote lately. Thought I would give you some more food for thought, re: Instant Runoff Voting. There are some advantages to IRV we ought to consider. It's not complicated and solves some of the problems we run up against. Neither does it benefit either party over the other.

Hint: make sure you understand what IRV is before you comment on it. wink

OK, I'm gone again, just wanted to give you guys something new to consider. Adios...

Vatican Document on Feminism

After reading this short article I have to wonder if the vatican knows which century we are living in. Can they really be that out of touch? :S
