Osprey family

Posted By Eric Todd

Hello again,

This is the final image of the Osprey family I took on May 30th. I was able to successfully process the "baby" part of the image enough to be able to add the cute little fellow (or fellowine). It was a little tougher since that part of the image was outside of my lense's/ scope's "sweet spot" but I think it worked out. Basically I feel lucky to get any of this as I had fully expected to capture one bird only and I was unaware of the "family". So, out of 200 something shots, this was one of the best of that morning.

ETX-90 on Majestic tripod
Samsung S630, 1/30, ISO 100
Scopetronix 14 mm wide angle ep
light Photoshop processing (color balance, contrast and crop- a bit more aggressive on the baby portion)

Enjoy,
Eric

Snowy Egret *FIXED*

This one, and its partner, were sitting on a fallen tree right along side of a pond. When I tried to image them both, one had flown away. I was able to get quite close. Apex 127 and CP990.

A frequent visitor to my local park, yesterday it decided to clean feathers. I changed modes on the camera and I think the less exposure brought out more detail.
