Or something else? I shot these photos today from the Palisade cliffs overlooking the Hudson River. This bird lacks the distinctive head markings of the Osprey that I'm used to seeing.

My wife and I were on our way to a reservoir to shoot some photos and saw a parking lot with a dozen Ferraris in it. Of course we made a U-turn and went back.
