Hi Mike,

Outstanding! image, I do not have an observatory either and when the wind is over 5mph it starts to give me problems, did you use any filters when you took this image.

Thanks,

Wes Higgins

Hi Mike,

Another outstanding image, it's to bad the wind was so high with all the work we go through to get these images I know you hate to loose any of them.

Thanks,

Wes

Jupiter, GRS Sept. 22 a.m. UT, MY BEST SCALE

Hi Jason,

Excellent image, very nice smooth processing although IMO it could use some more contrast.
Judging by this image the death of digital cameras in imaging Jupiter may be greatly exaggerated smile

Thanks,

My Favorite Network News Is...

OK - so here on an astronomical site, we have to deal with polls that ask "Who is the worst US President" and "What is your favorite "news" channel". Hard to miss that these are political in nature and have no place on here. As if "Fox" was an actual news channel! Kinda like saying "National Enquirer" is a real newspaper isn;t it?

Lyle,

You know if you had ended your post at "Hard to miss that these are political in nature and have no place on here" I could agree with that but then you go on and rant about Fox News and make your statement political too, kind of funny.
