i am new to the refracter scene.i just bought a genesis non sdf, i put my newer 2 inch televue diagonal in it and a 12mm type 2 nagler. when i rack the focuser out all the way stars do not come into focus. it needs about another quarter inch of travel to come into clear focus.so i have been moving the diagonal itself back to gain focus,is this right??i currently own a sct with no problems with this diagonal. so is the genesis at fault???

does anyone know the FOV of the 15.5mm meade research grade wide angle ep..

my friend just came over with her adapter. problem solved, thanks guys for your time and answers. i feel kindof stupid that it was something that simple..but i know nothing of televue scopes or diagonals. so i will join the yahoo groups and learn more.

been using a TV bino and 2x amplifier with my TV Genesis(nonsdf) f/5,no problems.my EP sets are 32mm TV plossls,24mm UO Konigs and 19mm TV panoptics.low power rich field viewing is just great with a bino and a fast refractor!!!!
