NGC1763

I tracked down the full resolution version of this image.
It's quite detailed.
I think there's a good amount of OIII in this nebula (not sure about SII).
Is there an OIII filter in the wheel on that scope?
If I understand correctly, it was gravitational interactions with our galaxy that caused the gas collapse and star forming 'flash bulbs' that are illuminating the gas in this image.
An excellent image, Roland.
My best regards,

Just about every computer comes with some sort of basic image editing software.
You haven't said what is available to you so I can't give you specific instructions but, in general, you open your image in that software and either resize the image or reduce the image quality until you are within Astromart's file size.

Hi Eric,
The color looks spot on to me and the processing has a restrained, natural feel that one doesn't see often enough.
Good work.

I think it winked at me.
That's some really fine detail on this object. You even got the 'red fliers'.
That must be some fine scope that you used to do so well with 30 second subexposures.
My regards,

900 mounts at LaScilla in Chile

Posted By dan kowall

Those sharp corners on the concrete piers instill fear into those of us who do unattended imaging.
There might be unintended tracking/slewing into those corners.
Do the mounts need any special preparation for use at LaScilla?

Assuming that you have no local machinists that you can use, the obvious online answer would be:

They have a wonderful reputation, a catalog of previous builds, and online design software.
