These are on the shore of Lake Buchanon, in the Hill Country of south Texas. This image was taken from 200 yards away with the Olympus C-2100 and 1.45X teleconverter yeilding 15X. Camera was hand-held with image stabilization. -Kurt Horsley

Sometimes you just get lucky. I caught this one in mid-flight using the macro mode and a teleconverter at the same time. I focused manually, to infinity (macro) and shot a burst to try to catch one good shot. It worked. -Kurt Horsley
