What's the motivation?

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

Do you wonder what's the motivation behind many of the posts we have here?

"Kerry is a fraud"
"Bush is a liar"

Does anyone really believe that any of these posts are going to change anyones mind on how they vote?

They appear to be nothing more then a senseless vocabulary.

If Herb pulled the plug on the whole politics forum I wouldn't blame him at all.

Re: Attacks on Iran Nuclear Facilities being debat

Extrapolating that to it's logical conclusion we'll end up attacking everyone.

I think it's time we minded our own business.

Remember what happened to the mighty England when she thought that she should rule the world and the sun never set on the empire.

It ended up syonora pouchy!

I was talking with Dean At Starizona a couple of days ago. He said that domes are noisy. Because of the limitations of the CC&R's in Quail Creek in Green Valley, AZ I'm seriosly considering the small Robo-Dome and remoting to the den.

Anybody had any experience with noisy domes? I don't want to get my neighbors P.Oed.

What's the motive?

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

If there is a God, what possible motive did he/she have for concocting all this mess?

To willfully bring this insane conglomeration into existence makes one doubt his/her credibility!

An don't make the excuse that we made it this way. At least from the bible and anything else that can be quoted, this is the way it's always been.

Wedge needed?

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

I've got a 10" Meade LX200 GPS. I'm planning some CCD photography with it. Any need for a wedge?

I've heard local comments both ways but many I've heard from have a vested interest in selling a wedge.

Comments please.

Re: The Church Councils around 200 - 300CE

Thge main objective was to consolidate many beliefs into one that could be controlled by the Roman empire.

They may have done this for their own purposes? Well, hell yes. Have you ever read the books of the bible that were thrown out?

Just try reading the whole story of Adam and Eve. They didn't get just one chance. They screwed up time after time after time.

If you read it you really start wondering, "How can you be so stupid!"

How about the Meade 1220. Since I'm going to remote my scope is there a better of cheaper de-rotator on the market that I don't know about?

Thanks in advance,
