NGC 2903

A good start. This is a dim but very detailed galaxy. It will take long exposure time to resolve the details, but there is much to enjoy about this one.

Looks first rate. The details on all three galaxies are excellent.

Hmmmm....the noise level in the color data is kind of high. I think you will need much more color data to get accurate color in the dim portions of this galaxy. With an 80-minute luminance, you would need at least 40-minute exposures for good color. Anything less, and the noise in the color is likely to dominate.

In effect, your long luminance exposure is holding a very bright light to the color data, and the luminance image will reveal any flaws or noise in the color. The solution is to brighten up the color with longer exposures so that they are more nearly equal.

Added some exposure time to my M13

I think you should be pleased indeed. Unguided? Really sensational for that. YOu might have a small collimation error; the stars on the right side of the image are a bit elongated in a way that suggests a small miscollimation.

And added some exposure time to M57

Nice. COllimation error looks even more obvious on this one, however.

A very nice M101. Great depth and details. Stars are really round throughout.
