LOVE IT..... BUT.....how about this? Due to the proliferation of certain determined and relentless scammers showing up here of late..... how about some way to "flag" such ads when a new ad from a new user gets 3 such "flags" from 3 different users within a certain period say 3 days or less... it immediately gets hidden or quarantined and the poster's (imposter's) acct gets "locked" pending "investigative review". And/or ANY ad from NEW user that does NOT offer paypal as one of the payment methods.. maybe let that in itself count as one "automatic" flag. Not sure if the site software can be "set up" for something like that. If not maybe just have a scan of drivers license (or other state or govt issued photo ID) required for new user accounts validation or "approval"...AND... a waiting period of 30 days before any "for sale" ads can be posted. A few ideas... not sure if they're viable or "doable". I can think of a few more I'm sure.

If you sent them (probably a "he" and this isn't the first account they've opened here, nor the first bogus ad) any money by paypal you might as well open a case right now if you can. Because you will not be receiving anything remotely similar to a Lunt LS60THa 50DS/B1200 Hydrogen Alpha solar telescope. 60mm Aperture <0.8 Angstroms single (50mm <0.55 Angstroms,double stack) 2'' 10:1 Crayford focuser, 12mm blocking filter, two foam lined aluminium cases, Tele Vue sol-searcher finder, instruction manuals, shipping box's, no scratches or mark's on telescope or optic's, hardly ever used, all in excellent working and cosmetic condition ..... for your $1000......if you even receive anything at all.

Is it allowed, listing of item for sale,  in advance of seller actually owning the item ? Sale contingent on his receipt (it’s still “ on order” evidently. 

Thanks Herb, yes, and to double-check, I did read all of that (being already familiar as well) and exactly as I thought, you must yourself (to paraphrase) “own and HAVE possession of an item” in order to sell it here on AM.
