This was my favorite class assignment from an After Effects class I took. We had to make a movie trailer from scratch.

Good job! That's always been one of my favorite movies and your video made me want to see it again! :-]]

Junior Mantis

Awesome - one of my favorite critters.

I was once in the right place at the right time to see thousands of these moving through a meadow. The air was full of them - it was incredible.

Great shot - I love how it's looking right at the camera.

Very, very nice, Ivan. Everything about it is just wonderful, but I particularly like the splash of bright green in the middle - where the trees are lit by the intermittent sunlight. You caught it at just the right moment. I'd say it was worth getting muddy for a shot like this!

They Followed Me Home.....

Here's a update on the cat family. A vet check revealed no surprises - just than the mom was severely malnourished and dehydrated. It's been two weeks now and she is finally starting to leave food in the dish. She is very sweet and laid back. Other than having to have a few words with the dog, she seems right at home now.

And she is such a good mommy...

The babies all weigh right around a pound. Still too young to differentiate, but we think only the black spotted one is a female.

Technically they are all up for adoption, but we aren't exactly trying too hard to find homes for them. wink
