Flycatcher - I think

Posted By Tyler Allred

I've poured over the book (Sibley's) and my best guess is that this is a Gray Flycatcher, but its difficult to be certain. I saw him catch the butterfly, and fly to this branch. He just sat there will I walked up and took several shots.

Another Osprey w small chick

Posted By Tyler Allred

I found this nest tonight about 2 miles from my house. Mom was tearing off chunks of fish and feeding it to the chick. I took these from a long distance with the D100/C5 combo. I'll be going back and cautiosly trying to get a little closer. Mom and dad didn't seem to mind me at this distance, so I might push forward a little bit at a time until they begin to notice me, and then try shooting from there.
