Heron Displaying Bad Behavior

Hi Again,
This bird was really displaying some interesting behaviors today. Every time another bird would approach, he would take this posture. Pretty intimidating!

I got pretty close to this guy before he spotted me. He stayed long enough for a few good pics. He has pretty good mass on those antlers.

Extreme Closeup Muley Buck

Its a good thing his antlers weren't too big or I couldn't have fit them in the frame. This was taken at minimum magnification (Swarovski ATS65 @ 20X) with my Nikon 5600 camera zoomed to minimum, I could just fit his head in the view at about 50 yards. It is possible to resolve individual ear hairs in the 2272x1704 original.

Fluffball Redtail

This redtailed hawk kept fluffing himself up into a big ball of feathers. It was almost comical. I desaturated the image a little because the color was too much!
