Keeper of the House

Nice Pic. He is a noble looking fellow. For some reason it reminds me of Snoopy on top of his dog house acting like a vulture :-)

Thanksgiving...?

Nice image. They can be hard to photograph against a white snowy background. We had them coming to the deer feeder here regularly, but the lack of snowcover in late December and early January has kept them away.

Joshua Tree Nat'l Park

Cholla Cactus Garden located in Joshua Tree Nat'l Park. I wasn't paying attention, and ended up with five tines in my knee. You have to pull hard to get them out. Nasty but beautiful.

Nice image Robert. I like the detail in the eye, feathers, and even the wire/cable.

I was unable to identify this "sandpiper". Anyone know what it is? Handheld with so-so glass these are not the best photos, but I still thought I'd share them and info about Bolsa Chica if anyone in interested.
