57mm Dog Walking Scope

What does the dog say about the images? Did you use and ED lens? Does that small tripod allow the dog to observe up to zenith? Is the dog an ASTROMART supporter?

I couldn't even google them. Can you send a link? Also, is Cargill in the United States, as your user discription indicates?

Floyd Blue. Elegant, simple designs, fast turn-around, reasonable prices.

Awesome job!! Nevertheless, I had a number of characters overprint on the symbols page, with multiple characters in the same space. Do you know what causes this and how I can correct it? Is it my Adobe reader or is something else happening?

How can I remove secondary?

Posted By Stephen Collett

I recall having to do this years ago. The adhesive was probably clear epoxy. I carefully covered and masked the mirror, then I chucked the seondary in my vise and cut the adhesive with a hacksaw. Turned out fine, but you do want to weigh the risks first. Good luck!

Ok, a question on object to photograph

Hey, Floyd. Realize that the entire veil system is about five times as big across as the crescent. The crescent is also in a very busy area, so HA might not make it all that distinct. If you have enough field of view, you should go for as much of the veil as you can.

That 6 inch aerial lens o' mine

Posted By Stephen Collett

Yeah, that old lens is too dangerous to keep around. Mail it to me -- I'll reimburse shipping (always wanted one).

Edge blacken primary?

Posted By Stephen Collett

Yes. Black sharpie. Also baffle it with some roughened black Kydex or ASB.

Did you not like the Vixen 8" cat, or are you just looking for shorter focal length?
