Great idea. Now do you have any idea where I can find some clear skies. Early last week was beautiful but I wasn't prepared. Thursday I finally have everything together and adjusted and it has beenovercast ever since.

Not that I am aware. Ocassionaly I have some but not right now. I use
www.foamsbymail.com. Nice selection of foams and easy to deal with. They are in MI.

I pick mine up or get the minimum for free shipping so I am not sure about their shipping charges.

One thing I thought I would mention since I have used both the cubes and the regular foam. I use cross-linked high density polyethelene. Easy to cut and you can get a near perfect fit plus it does not absorb moisture.

My thanks to all you helpful astromarters who offered to take this albatross off my hands. Since the original post I did a little investigating and see that the new price of this tripod with the 3126 head, not a three way but a micro fluid video head is about $215. I probably wont be selling it for $22.50 and splitting postage. 8)

These guys just don't get it. She is not happy because you don't have a nice big newt to round out the collection.
get a nice 24" Dob or something like that. Only then will she be satisfied.

Turns out I didn't get the job. I am a bit shocked since I was assured just 3 days ago I was the leading candidate and the interviews were over.

Oh well, back to looking for another new job. 8(
