Linearity in optics

Hi Jeff --

I've always taped a few sheets of paper together and drawn a line perpendicular to the lens thru its midpoint and then drawn converging lines to meet at its focal length. Doing this gives me a better 'gut' feeling about needed baffle sizes/locations.
Good luck with your project.

I agree. It's an eye opener to learn how meticulous and persistent our predecessors were. We owe a lot to them.

Hi Jeff --

I don't have broadband connections but downloaded the cine anyway. It was definitely worth the time it took. Thanks.

Hi all --

It's been my impression that Pegasus mirrors rank with the best. Is anyone aware of an inferior Pegasus?
I own an 18" Starmaster with a Pegasus and find its performance superb.
