Astro Systems Wide scan eyepieces

Anyone have any thoughts on the new style Wide Scan 13,20 or 30MM WideScan Type II 82degree oculars sold by Astro Systems? These seem to be a great buy, but I have not had any experience with these. They "look" to be as nicely constructed as TV's. Thanks,Paul

LOW POWER WIDE FIELD

Hi folks....I would like to throw this question out and get some feedback. I've used a 35MM Panoptic with my AP 155MMF/7 and still got a little edge distortion. Anyone suggest a good low power wide field EP I could use? I was thinking of trying a Pentax........thanks, and best regards, Paul

I'm trying to complete a set of Meade series 4000 made in Japan Super Wide Angle eyepieces. I have the 13.8, 18 and the 24.5MM. Am I missing any? Thanks for your help. Paul

My pet fox

Not really a pet, but here this cute fox was this morning "sleeping in" just outside my kitchen window. I have never gotten this close to one so I used the telephoto setting on my Nikon. It eventually got up and walked away.

I recently purchased a new C-14 OTA XLT. In all of the advertising and literature the info states that this OTA package comes with a 2" 40MM eyepiece. When I received mine it had a 1.25" instead. Anyone else get the shaft? Thanks, Paul
