27mm pan vrs 22mm Nagler

Posted By Rusty Keeney

I don't think the Nagler 22 would have enough ER, either. I have a Pan 22, and it's not got enough...but should you go with the Nagler, put me on your list for buying the Pan 27...

Perhaps you could get a short piece of PVC pipr ( or unions) and cut to fit. Otherwise, you might want to contact Ken Dauzat, as he makes a lot of high-quality things at rasonable prices.

It also needs a correct-image diagonal. I have one, and use it for terrestrial photography and general viewing.

You don't say where you live, but a vapor barrier is probably required by the building code. Paint would do virtually nothing to help.

If you're where it gets hot and humid, a small reverse cycle (heat-pump) A/C window unit would work as well as a dehumidifier. Put it on a timer (which means either one with a built-in timer or mechanical controls).

Great idea - I was going to drill and tap the collars for computer case thumbscrews!

Back to David's original post - I have one of those gadgets ordered, as I can't find the expensive compass I bought years ago.

I think it's a neat idea.

Hey Guys Tell my wife (Leni ) I,m not alone!

I'm 60, single, and retired, and can't say I have a room devoted to my hobbies - the whole house is a Hobby Lobby. Besides my two Golden Retrievers, two Maine Coon and two domestic shorthair cats, there are four scopes, three binoculars, and too many tripods.

Then there is the model railroading stuff...and usually somebody's computer on a workbench in the midst of repair.

Trains by day, stars by night, and no worries...
