Not is not Mars.

About 300+ frames using ToUCam, C14 @ f/25 on a G11 under great skies.

Jupiter + Ganymede 2/9/03 - TEC200 Mak

Posted By Angel Gomez

Here is what it looked like with the TEC. I still have some files to process, but I don't think it will match the C14 images. After all its 14" and the skies were the best I've seen in a long time.

BTW - Tim Khan did some imaging with the 12" TEC Mak and the blue frining around the left side of the planet showed up in his image... hmmm?!?

Ok, I promise this is my last Jupiter post

Another image with the TEC during a transit. If you look to the left of the shadow you will see the satellite. I can't rememeber which was transiting that night.

Same set-up as the previous Jupiter image (TEC200 Mak ...)

Angel

Hello,

This is what Saturn "almost" looked like tonight :-) Contrary to Jupiter, it always looks much better at the eyepiece.

Hello,

Just in case its too cloudy or too cold were you are to get out tonight. Also two images, one for those of you who like to process your images a little "hard" and one for the softies like me :-)

Angel

Hello,

My thanks to all for the many kind words. Those words motivate me to go out as often as possible to document the events of the big giant to share with all.

Image was taken about 2:20 UT 3/2/2003 under partial cloud cover.

Best,

Angel

Pig roast Jupiter!

Posted By Angel Gomez

Neighbors decided to roast a pig tonight. If it wasn't for a bit of wind blowing it would have runied the night. No, I did not get invited :-)

Angel
