GRS at 12000 mm fl

Wanted to see what the GRS would look like at f/60 on a 200mm scope. No better than at f/31, but it was fun trying.

Mars - May 8th 2003

Hello,

Images of Mars from this morning. The seeing was a bit worse than expected, but no complains here. At least Mars clears the tree tops here in South Florida.

Angel

Mars - May 11th 2003

Hello,

Thanks for the complements on the images. It’s my privilege and pleasure to be part of this forum.

As for Graeme, I think you must feed you 80mm scope some of Popeye’s spinach! :-)

Attached is image from Mars this morning, this time with a C14 as the skies were a bit steadier than they’ve been in the past. Visually Mars showed somewhat less detail, but it was much more pleasing to the eye. I’m hooked!!

Regards,

Angel

Hey Joe B. - this one is for you!

Posted By Angel Gomez

Hello,

Took the C14 last night and decided to wait for Mars this morning. Skies were a little better than they've been lately.

As for Lance, I will pass on your challenge. Getting up early once in a while to image Mars while battling mosquitoes is challenge enough!

Regards,

Angel

This morning's catch - Mars.

Hi all,

It seems like the rainy season has finally arrived here in South Florida. In addition to several inches of rain, early morning clouds and haze have been making it difficult for me to image the little guy this week... until this morning.

Kind regards,

Angel
