Jews call Obama a racist

Posted By Jim Babcock

President Obama's policies against Jewish construction in eastern Jerusalem and the strategic West Bank were slammed as "racist" today by participants in a rally drawing about 2,000 Israelis in front of the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem.

"George Mitchell go home!" yelled protestors in front of the U.S. government building.

I have mixed feelings about some of what Israel is doing, but the Obama Administration and their demonstrated disdain for long term allies is once again demonstrating that they are just as ineffective in the international arena as they are domestically. Thankfully according to his approval rating more and more Americans are waking up to the devastation that Obama continues to inflict on this country. Hopefully as his approval rate continues to tank his socialist and liberal policies will follow suit.

I thought that everyone around the world adores our first black president? I guess that there are some who see Obama for what he actually is.

Biden

Posted By Jim Babcock

Biden is such a gem. He ranks right up there with Dan Quayle for tact and brilliance. Did you see how just a couple weeks after Obama tried to buddy up with Putin, Biden stuck his foot in his mouth AGAIN?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/07/27/AR2009072701154_pf.html

An interview U.S. Vice President Joe Biden gave to an American newspaper was front-page news Monday in Moscow, where his characterization of Russia as a weakened nation hit a raw nerve.

Biden's comments appeared to catch the Kremlin by surprise, coming less than three weeks after President Barack Obama said on a visit to Moscow that the U.S. wants to see a "strong, peaceful and prosperous Russia."

Biden is the best life insurance policy Obama could possibly have.

Obama hypocrisy to the extreme and his supporters

Posted By Jim Babcock

A heretofore "unknown" 2004 interview with Barack Obama by leftwing radio host Randi Rhodes has just emerged. And basically, as you shall hear, Obama is saying do as I say, not as I do. In this case he was referring to quickly forcing legislation through congress. As you can hear in this interview, uncovered by Naked Emporer News, the hypocrisy seems so massive that it is destined to go viral on the Web.

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/p-j-gladnick/2009/07/27/obama-2004-bush-rushed-legislationthrough-congress-without-allowing-ti

I think that the article speaks for itself. Obama is just plain the most extreme hypocrite that can be imagined. We already knew this.

What I think is the more interesting aspect of this is Obama's supporters. The silence of Obama's supporters in regard to Obama's destruction of this country demonstrates that they are just as or more dangerous than Obama himself. Obama supporters have consistently said here that we should just let him try whatever he wants to try to fix issues. His supporters could care less what he does as long as his politics matches his. It seems that libs would agree with other historical dictators like Hitler, Genghis Kong or a mass murderer if they had the right skin color and can read a teleprompter.

Cash for Clunkers update

Posted By Jim Babcock

Now that Obama and libs have taken over the auto industry and implemented their Cash for Clunkers scheme, how is it going? As no surprise it looks like the Administration is playing games as usual:

http://money.cnn.com/2009/07/28/autos/clunker_mpg_switch/index.htm?postversion=2009072811

Some car shoppers are finding that their trade-in vehicles, which qualified for a Cash for Clunkers rebate last week, don't this week thanks to changes in the EPA's fuel economy ratings.

In some cases, car buyers say, dealers are backing out of sales they've already made because the EPA changed the fuel economy figures on their trade-in.

This should be another teachable moment for some. Never trust libs, especially when it comes to your money.

Stimulus Lib Style

Posted By Jim Babcock

"Yes we can" create a lot of jobs that last for a week. How liberal of them.

Democrats are taking credit for a remarkable feat: creating 3,236 new jobs in the program's first three months.

But those jobs lasted on average only 35 hours, or about one work week. After that, those workers were effectively back unemployed, according to an Associated Press analysis of state spending and hiring data.

Now that is the "Change" only a lib could believe in. wink What a joke their Messiah is. :S

Orders

Posted By Jim Babcock

Finally the media is starting to report about the libs following their orders from Der Fuhrer on how to distract from his failures.

Facing the first real rough patch of his presidency, President Obama and his supporters are once again resorting to a tried-and-true tactic: attacking George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

In his White House press conference last week, Mr. Obama referred to the Bush era at least nine times, three times lamenting that he "inherited" a $1.3 trillion debt that has set back his administration's efforts to fix the economy.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jul/29/obama-still-cashing-in-on-bushs-economic-failings/print/

The "real rough patch" is that the public is waking up to Obama's lies and lack of performance. He directly said that we needed to cram through his spending spree in order to keep unemployment below 8% and that we would soon see the start of the affects of his reckless use of tax payer's and future generation's money. So he is doing the same as libs do here and blame everything he can on Bush. As his approval rating continues to plummet, I expect this whiny community organizer to start going after commentators who have a different perspective than his again. While he is the first black President and maybe the first gay President, and libs think that he had the perfect credentials as a community organizer who can read a teleprompter, more and more Americans and others around the world are seeing that he is a failure and not presidential material. It is just too bad for the country that we have to go through all of this pain in order to gain an understanding that liberal and socialist policies are bad for this country.

Sales

Posted By Jim Babcock

Obama's ridiculous spending has led to the current situation where we are having a hard time finding someone to buy our debt.

http://www.cnbc.com/id/32201716

Obama has just started to spend. We have not even begun to sell bonds related to his socialized medicine debacle.

Obama makes Jimmy Carter look like a genius and Bush look like a well spoken tightwad. To anyone who has not drank too much liberal koolaide, Obama has already demonstrated that he deserved the title of worst President in American history.

Overexposed

Posted By Jim Babcock

Some of us are just tired of even looking at the current white President. A lady who has worked "her ass off" for her entire life is selling her TV so that she does not have to see the freak's face anymore.

http://carrollspaper.1upsoftware.com/print.asp?SectionID=1&SubSectionID=1&ArticleID=8449

A 78-year-old Carroll woman says she's so tired of seeing President Barack Obama on the airwaves that she's selling her television sets - two of them.

Deloris Nissen, a retired nurses' aide and former Kmart employee who was raised on a farm near Audubon, placed a classified advertisement with The Daily Times Herald for Friday's paper.

Good for her. If only it were so easy to get rid of him, his policies and many of his liberal colleagues from Washington.

Organic

Posted By Jim Babcock

How many of you have fallen for the organic food scam? I suspect every lib and person who lives in California. I like the taste of fresh vegetables from my garden, but have never paid the hefty premium for the scammer's organic varieties in the store. Well it looks like the scam has been scientifically uncovered.

http://www.reuters.com/article/scienceNews/idUSTRE56S3ZJ20090729

A systematic review of 162 scientific papers published in the scientific literature over the last 50 years, however, found there was no significant difference.

So just because there are a lot of libs and their propaganda main stream media who push one of the lib schemes does not make it true, no matter how many times they repeat themselves and act so smug like they think they are smarter than anyone else. I hope they continue to throw their money away on their scientifically proven waste.

Minimum Wage

Posted By Jim Babcock

As you all probably know the minimum wage was recently increased by $.75 per hour bringing it up to $7.25 per hour. This is always a good topic of discussion in a political forum.

Here is the opener question. What should the minimum wage be and why?

I will start it off with the old tired arguments to get them out of the way.

Position of the Right:

There should be no minimum wage since a free marketplace will value labor based on supply and demand. The government needs to stay out of business since any minimum wage is just artificial and was created because liberal unions have pegged many of their rates to the minimum wage and raising the minimum wage is a method Dems use to pay back the Unions. Any minimum wage is an artificial rate that is just passed on to consumers and costs jobs at the bottom of the ladder. The minimum wage is primarily used for entry level positions and not intended to be a living wage.

Anyone who is for a minimum wage is anti-free market, anti-American, and is simply ignorant.

Position of the Left:

Without the minimum wage businesses would have us all working for 25 cents per hour. Supply and demand does not work. No one can pay their bills (food, housing, transportation), especially health care on the minimum wage. The minimum wage should be radically higher than $7.25 per hour.

Anyone who is against a minimum wage is evil, hates the poor, is selfish, and is simply ignorant.

I am certain that each of us has anecdotal stories that supports our position.

Did I get it right? Where am I wrong? What did I miss? Who is right? How do you refute the arguments of those you disagree with? WHAT SHOULD THE MINIMUM WAGE BE AND WHY?????
