It can't be an opinion piece.
Well, at least we have an advanced heads-up for a potential source for Animus DeSantis' anti-vax committee. That, and the Epoch Times. It's going to be epic...

The AAA Report On American Driving Habits...

Getting worse in spades:
"The report, which includes survey data from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, noted increases in risky behaviors including speeding, running red lights, drowsy driving, and driving impaired due to cannabis or alcohol."

I wonder how the increase in the number of pickup truck drivers factors in here...

Deal With Debt Ceiling Before GOP House Control

I agree with Dimon and Yellen on this one:

Yo can't leave the economy in the hands of morons like MTG and her fellow wingnuts in the so-called freedom caucus...

"I want to tell you something, if Steve Bannon and I had organized that, we would have won. Not to mention, we would've been armed," she said Saturday, according to the New York Post."

Greene now says this :
"The White House needs to learn how sarcasm works,” Greene said in a statement. “My comments were making fun of Joe Biden and the Democrats, who have continuously made me a political target since January 6.”

That's typical of her; she says something beyond the pale, gets called on it, and either denies it or says she can't remember saying it as she did in court earlier in the year, or chalks it up to sarcasm or something akin to it. That's how she rolls. In court, she said she didn't remember calling Trump about January 6th, as if that's something one wouldn't remember.  But she did state it was our "1776 moment":
"Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a tweet Saturday declaring that “today and everyday is 1776” only hours after denying under oath that she knew the term was sometimes used as far-right shorthand for violent uprising."

I like Raskin's comment:  “I simply think that Kevin McCarthy and the Republican conference need to decide which side of the insurrection they’re on,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), a member of the House Jan. 6 select committee, told The Hill. “The side of the officers and the Constitution, or the side of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump?”

"At the same Young Republican gala where Greene spoke, the group’s president, Gavin Wax, reportedly told the audience, “We want to cross the Rubicon. We want total war. We must be prepared to do battle in every arena. In the media. In the courtroom. At the ballot box. And in the streets.”
