Greene now says this :
"The White House needs to learn how sarcasm works,” Greene said in a statement. “My comments were making fun of Joe Biden and the Democrats, who have continuously made me a political target since January 6.”

That's typical of her; she says something beyond the pale, gets called on it, and either denies it or says she can't remember saying it as she did in court earlier in the year, or chalks it up to sarcasm or something akin to it. That's how she rolls. In court, she said she didn't remember calling Trump about January 6th, as if that's something one wouldn't remember. But she did state it was our "1776 moment":
