Here is Mars from this morning under average seeing.

Meade LX90 8" SCT @ f/60, ToUcam 840 w/IR bock filter, seeing 5/10, frames= 400/1800 @ 10fps, 9:39 UT.

Mars this morning

Here is Mars taken this morning under good seeing. I'm going to try and reprocess later to try and get rid of the brightened limb, but I'll probably be unsuccessful. :S

Meade LX90 8" SCT @ f/58, ToUcam 840 w/IR block Filter, seeing 6/10, frames= 894/1800 @ 10fps, 8:29 UT.

Mars under excellent seeing

Hi all,

Here is Mars under the best seeing I've ever had! It started out very poor and for about 15 minutes it seemed to be almost perfect and then it went bad again. Too bad it couldn't last, but I'm happy I was up early enough to catch it!

Meade LX90 8" SCT @ f/58, ToUcam 840 w/IR block filter, seeing 7-8/10, frames= 508/2250 @ 10fps, 7:04 UT on Sep. 28, 2005.
