Jews go to the back of the bus

"The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.

(Jesse) Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House."

Jesse Jackson quoted from this article:

So, who will replace the "Zionists?"

Following Barack Hussein Obama's orders

"I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face," he said.

Objective focal lengths

Posted By david elosser

I purchased an old Astro Optical scope off Ebay. It came with two Danchyka objectives. One was a bit damaged and the other is in better shape and apparently a replacement. Although both are marked with a focal length of 910mm (which is the fl of the optical tube), the newer objective will not come to focus. The older, damaged one will. When I hold the objectives at arms length together, the new one has more magnification factor by about 2x. Is this a longer or shorter focal length than 910?

Thanks

Always did consider it as such. Even when researching astronomy topics I consider it a resource but never an authority. I hate that my StarryNight Pro now has automatic links to it. Most of the time it's useless for what I'm looking for.

Obama's poll numbers worse than Bush's?

Posted By david elosser

"Polling data show that Mr. Obama's approval rating is dropping and is below where George W. Bush was in an analogous period in 2001."

"A detailed examination of presidential popularity after 50 days on the job similarly demonstrates a substantial drop in presidential approval relative to other elected presidents in the 20th and 21st centuries. The reason for this decline most likely has to do with doubts about the administration's policies and their impact on peoples' lives."

Re: Obama insults special olympics

Pres. Obama stuck his foot in his mouth last night on Leno. He insulted the special olympics about bowling. Here's the link: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/03/president-ob-15.html

Now, I submit that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Since Trent Lott had to step down as majority leader back in 2002 because of a remark he made about Strom Thurmond, saying simply "the country would be better off if you were elected", I submit that the President of the United States must resign effective midnight tonight. I mean really, how can the American People possibly tolerate such hate speech. He obviously makes jokes off camera all the time about special needs folks in our society. This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is a 'disability-phobe'. I KNOW that all the left-wingers out there would agree that this is completely outrageous, and unacceptable behavior from the Messiah-in-Chief. He should probably have to pay damages as well, because how on Earth can anyone with special needs possibly step outside now. I think talk radio goddess Randi Rhoades needs to be alerted to this outrage! I remember that she among others screeched that the racist Trent Lott had to at minimum step down. Let's get the movement going to impeach this President for his despicable, insensitive, hate-speech filled comment. The lack of his control for that 3 second remark should be obvious to any clear thinking American of his inability to govern this nation!! wink grin

As the proud husband of a disabled wife, I am not impressed. But I am not surprised either. Just look at who his preacher was for 25 years! There is, BTW a bowling league for the totally blind, although my wife has never bowled with it. Another famous totally blind person, Tom Sullivan played golf with a higher score than most sighted people. The movie that was made about him was very inspiring.
