Seeing was a bit better during the first part of the evening.

It appears the Martians are having a Festival of some sort. All that
blue "haze" over the S hemisphere suggests some ancient ritual involving
ceremonial smoking by the natives. I'd better contact Percival at Flagstaff...

Mars is smaller but still shows fair detail. FYI.

Storms on Saturn

Hello All,
seeing was poor last night but I was able to image a white spot with my TMB 8" F/9. Don Parker later in the evcening imaged additional spots. Because of the poor seeing the images are not great but if you look carefully you can see the storm which rotated with the planet.
