Bald Eagles in New Hampshire

Posted By Aaron Yonker

Nice catch Chase.

The eagles come down when everything is frozen over further up north. You should make your way to the chain bridge adjacent to I-95 just south of New Hampshire. I often counted 10-15 bald eagles at one time. They catch the cat fish and chase local diving birds to steal there catch.

Mostly they play in mid air with each other and perch in the trees.

I have not been since last winter.

Green Heron

Nice Shot John. I love these little guys. I know what you mean about the neck thing. They are interesting to watch, though I did not know that about their fishing skills,

Macro of a wolf spider baby

Posted By Aaron Yonker

Thanks for the comments. I just recently bought some Kenko Tubes to do some cheap macro work with a 50mm lens. It is actually a pretty good alternative to a true macro lens in case anyone is interested.

Don't forget to press the play button if the slideshow doesn't start so you can see how small the spider actually was.
