Anyone know what the currant draw on the Ultima 8 circuit board would be without the drive motor running. Just curious, looking at a mod to allow the PEC to retain its memory after being shut off. Thanks All

GM announced today that they will be "reviewing" the Humvee model lineup with one outcome being completely discontinuing the lineup. Apparently, high gas pices are to blame. De-ja-vu 1970's anyone?

Right, Left.....Conservative, liberal....Keep reading all sorts of posts, some pretty caustic. It seems like politics has boiled down to us against them. Problem is is we are them, and them is us. We are all AMERICANS.....We are fighting ourselves. And all the while we are being taken over bit by bit by foreign interests and nations. China will practically own us pretty soon, the way things are going. Try calling any sort of customer service rep without talking to some one in a timezone more than 4 hours away. Buying some thing made in America anymore requires a trip to a specialty store....

What the heck is going on?

I am not a whacko isolationist, I just love my country and hate to see it's identity being lost amid infighting and globalization.

How dirty is TO dirty

I have had my C8 for 6 years now. So far, I have only blown off the corrector twice with compressed air. Well, I was looking down the optical tube and am noticing some dust on the mirror, and the corrector is dirty again. When I bought the scope (used) from Photon Instraments in Mesa, Warren had cleaned it up before I took it home. Is there a hard and fast rule as far as how often one should open up the tube and clean up inside?

First theses guys had to be prompted several times to address eachother. Lots of stuttering, halting speach. Not much substance (to my ears anyway). I guess I expected more. I really came away with an overwhelming sense that these guys are actually scared of eachother. :S
