jupiter from 23rd Feb 2003

Hi folks,

Finally I managed to capture some better moments from the poor seeing we've
had here for the pass weeks.

Note the dark material north of the GRS. The dark streak south of the GRS
seems to be breaking up.

jupiter from 23rd Feb 2003 joint Effort

Posted By Tan Wei Leong

Dear folks,

Another join effort Eric Ng, the higher SNR from the double amount of images
makes processing the image very easy. We shall have this on a regular basis.

Note the dark matter North of the GRS and the apparent flow and interaction
of dark matter with the GRS.
There is also leaking of light orange color material at the NEB-N.

For this image, Eric shoot this Raw over in Hong Kong while I shoot mine in
Singapore. After that he send me the Raws and I combine with mine for
processing.

Much details were noted over the disk. Some tiny white spots were observed near the NNTB, their rotation can be follow in the 3 images. The NTB remains weak and segmented, a portion of the NTB is still distinct at a system II longitude of 230-240 degrees the NEB appears dark, with a dark festoon near the CM in the 15:00UT image. The SEB appears to be bisect by a thin bright zone.

Note the details on Ganymede.

jupiter image 10th march 2003

Posted By Tan Wei Leong

here's a jupiter image from 10th March 2003.

Note that the NTrB is visible in my images.

Seeing is 5-6/10 and transparency 9-10/10, very clear night, the sky is pitch dark even from my mag 3.5 skies. However because the day time was hot and sunny, my surroundings has not cooled down so the seeing was not very
good.
